A coworking desk in Hyderabad usually costs ₹3,000 to ₹12,000 a month, plus 18% GST. Where you sit in that range depends mostly on the area, the brand and whether you need the same desk every day. Private cabins are priced per seat and typically run ₹5,500 to ₹20,000 per seat a month.
Typical prices by type and area

Why the same desk costs twice as much in different places
Area. Grade A towers in HITEC City, Raheja Mindspace, Gachibowli and the Financial District charge the most, because the buildings themselves rent for ₹70–110 per square foot. Spaces in Ameerpet, Kukatpally, KPHB, Begumpet, Himayatnagar, Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar and LB Nagar sit in older or smaller buildings and pass the savings on.
Brand. International and listed operators such as WeWork, Regus, Awfis and Smartworks usually charge more than independent spaces for a comparable desk. In return you often get more meeting rooms, better-run buildings, multi-city access and paperwork that large employers’ procurement teams accept.
Seat type. A hot desk is the cheapest because the operator can sell more memberships than there are desks. A dedicated desk is typically 20–40% more. A private cabin adds a door, which matters for calls and confidential work.
Term and team size. Month-to-month plans cost the most. A 6–12 month agreement, or 10 or more seats, usually gets 5–15% off. Managed offices for 50+ seats are always negotiated.
The extras that change the real price
- GST at 18%. If your business is GST-registered you can usually claim it back as input tax credit. Freelancers who are not registered pay it as a cost.
- Security deposit. Typically 1–2 months for desks and cabins and 2–3 months for managed offices. Ask how long the refund takes after you leave.
- Meeting rooms. Most plans include a few hours a month; extra hours cost ₹300–2,000 an hour.
- Parking. Often charged separately in the IT corridor, especially for cars.
- Electricity and after-hours air conditioning. A few spaces bill these separately for private cabins.
- Printing, lockers and storage. Usually small, but check.
Day passes and flexible plans
A day pass is the cheapest way to work outside home occasionally: from about ₹250 in neighbourhood spaces to ₹1,200 at premium centres. Many spaces sell packs of 5–15 days a month, which suit people who come in two or three days a week. See our coworking day pass guide.
How to get a better price
- Get three written quotes for the same seat count and term. Prices are rarely published and vary a lot between centres a few hundred metres apart.
- Ask for the price including GST and everything else you will pay monthly.
- Offer a longer term in exchange for a lower rate, but keep the lock-in shorter than your confidence in your headcount.
- Negotiate the deposit as well as the rent.
- Ask about launch offers at newly opened centres, which often discount for the first few months.
